Top Dholera construction companies 2026, by disclosed contract value

This page tells you which contractors are physically building Dholera SIR, ranked by the value of the work the government's own development company says it has awarded them. These are the firms laying the roads and pipes, and almost none of them sells plots.

None of these nine contractors holds a GujRERA registration in Dholera SIR, and none of the twenty-two registered promoters holds a DICDL contract. The companies that build the city and the companies that sell plots in it are, on the public record, two separate populations that do not overlap at all.

No paid placement. No company can buy a position, a listing or a removal. Nothing on this site is for sale, no developer, broker or agency has paid for anything here, and no advertising is carried. Rank is computed from the public column named on this page and from nothing else.

Rank is the sum of disclosed award values where the company is the sole named awardee, then contract count, then name. Where a contract is held in joint venture the annual report gives one value for the venture and no split, so that value is not divided and not counted here. It is printed in full on each member's own page with the venture named.

Two awarded records carry no value in any source, including the terminated water treatment plant contract. They show as no value disclosed rather than as zero. One record is tagged REPORTED because it comes from trade press and no government document opened corroborates it, and it is never mixed into an OFFICIAL total without the tag being visible.

The annual report labels most of these figures total project cost rather than contract amount. Only the administration and business centre award is printed explicitly as a contract amount. That distinction is kept on every company page.

What would move a contractor up this list. A larger disclosed award, or DICDL publishing a value for an award it has so far described without one. Two contractors would enter the ranking the day a value is printed against their awards. Note what this list cannot see: the Government of India approved infrastructure packages totalling INR 2,784.83 crore for Dholera are not broken into contractors anywhere in the sources opened, so the contractors holding them are absent from this page entirely. Each row above carries the identifier of the record it came from and, where the source publishes one, a link straight to the government page. The rule used to join a name in one register to a name in another is set out on the methodology page, the full company set is at the register, and the whole thing is downloadable as JSON and CSV. These are the terms the government documents use. Each one is expanded here because a register is unreadable if you do not already work in one, and you should not have to.

Dholera SIR

Dholera Special Investment Region. A specific area of land south west of Ahmedabad that the Gujarat government notified for industrial development, with a boundary drawn on a map. A plot is either inside that boundary or it is not, and everything on this site refers only to the inside.

GujRERA

The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Before a developer may advertise or sell most projects, it has to register the project with this body, which then publishes the registration on a portal anyone can search for free.

Promoter

The register's word for the developer. It is the company or person named on a project registration as the party building and selling it, and it is the name we rank, because it is the name the government file carries.

DICDL

Dholera Industrial City Development Limited. The government-owned company that builds the roads, water and power inside Dholera SIR and allots land to other companies. Its annual reports are audited and published, which is where the land and contract figures on this site come from.

Allotment and allottee

An allotment is land handed over by the development authority rather than bought from a private owner. The company that receives it is the allottee. An allotment is recorded in a government document, which is why it can be listed here at all.

Crore

Ten million. One crore rupees is 10,000,000 rupees.

OFFICIAL, REPORTED and TARGET

The tag on a figure says how solid it is. OFFICIAL means it is printed in a government document. REPORTED means a named third party published it and the government has not. TARGET means it is a plan for the future, not an achieved number. Nothing is presented without one of these.
