Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Private Limited, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 ... to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) exclusively for Electronic Hardware and Software including IT/ITES at Plot No. 255 and 238 (part-2) [part of Survey No. 151, Dholera Village], Industrial Zone in town Planning Scheme 2A, Dholera Special Investment Region, Gujarat; ... hereby notifies the 66.166 hectares area comprising the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table
This is the area NOTIFIED AS A SEZ by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce (SEZ Division), notification dated 9 April 2026, published in the Gazette 10 April 2026, file no. F. No. K-43016/6/2026-SEZ, signed Vimal Anand, Jt. Secy. Letter of Approval under s.3(10) of the SEZ Act was granted 17 March 2026. The SEZ was appointed a deemed Inland Container Depot under s.7 Customs Act 1962 with effect from 9 April 2026. IMPORTANT: an SEZ notification defines the notified zone footprint. It is NOT a land allotment deed: the gazette states no allotment date, no tenure, no lease term and no consideration. It is also not necessarily the total land held by this allottee in Dholera SIR. Do not present 66.166 ha as 'the Tata fab land allotment' without this qualification.
